He was relinquished by his guardians because they worked long hours and had very little time for Louie. He is housetrained, knows some commands and his most favorite thing to do is play FETCH ! He is waiting for a special family that will play every day with him.
 

 

HOLLY 1 1/2 year old female Light Grey Tabby DSH


She was transferred from a shelter where she was scheduled to be euthanized. She is a beautiful, graceful and friendly girl and she has finally gotten used to all the cats in the adult cat room. All she wants is someone to pet her fur and tell her how wonderful she is !
 

 

 

TREY 5 year old male Beagle


This friendly guy came from a kill shelter. We had to treat him for heartworm when he arrived and now he is a healthy boy. He is good with dogs, kids and by the way he only has three legs. He gets around as well as any dog and missing a rear leg doesn't hold him back.

We transferred this sweet, quiet guy from a kill shelter. He loves to sit and enjoy the fresh air but he is always ready to go for a walk too. He is housetrained and would be a happy addition to any family.

We transferred this well-dressed tuxedo kitten from a kill shelter. She is very friendly, lovable and always talking to everyone that passes the kitten room door. She would be a wonderful family pet and adaptable to other cats in your family.

This sweet girl with long flowing red hair was transferred from a kill shelter. She has energy to burn so she needs an active guardian. If you don't want a couch potato and like to stay fit then Shania is the dog for your lifestyle.

He came on a transport to the safety of our shelter. We discovered that he had a cleft lip so he had to have surgery to repair it. He is an energetic boy that would love to have a family of his own. Could that be you?

Three years ago she was found as a pregnant stray. She had her 4 kittens, they were adopted but she never was. This sweetheart just wants a bed to curl up in and a guardian to love her forever. That's not too much to ask.

He was rescued as a kitten with his brother from outside. He is a little shy and walks funny due to something that happened to his Mom while she was pregnant. He has been with us since March 1997 and he really deserves his own home.

We transferred Jack from a kill shelter. He is one of the most unusual looking dogs you will ever see. He is a German Shepherd in the body of a Basset Hound. This friendly guy is good on a leash and already housetrained too.

Cleo came from another shelter that was ready to euthanize her. She has fantastic green eyes and cute orange spots on her head and paws too. This small 10 pound girl wants a loving home of her own as soon as possible.

We transferred this happy guy from a kill shelter so he is a very lucky boy. He has reddish long hair, he's friendly and has a sweet disposition. He would love someone to hug and kiss him every day for the rest of his life.

We brought Marco and his brother Polo from another shelter to give them a chance for happiness. They weigh about 33 pounds and they both have a beautiful fur color. They are friendly, happy guys ready for their own families to love.

We took Marie and her brother Mitchell from a kill shelter to save them. She is a red smooth coated 10 pound girl and her brother is a buff colored 4 pounder. Give them a lap and they will be your friends for life.

This cute petite girl came with her siblings Jinx and Jaguar as stray little kittens. The are all still with us and coming out of their shell more and more every day. With love, time and patience they will be wonderful members of any family.

She was relinquished when her guardian's lost their home and moved where no big dogs were allowed. She is a strong 70 pound girl, friendly, housetrained and knows many commands. This Dixie chick can't sing but she sure can play !

He came through the trap, neuter, return program when he was only 4 months old in 2006. He plays hard to get at first so he has been overlooked as a kitten and now as an adult. This beautiful big boy has a white chest, white toes and is still waiting for someone to give him a chance.

This front declawed petite beauty was abandoned by her guardian. She is not adjusting well to shelter life and won't leave the cage in the adult cat room. All she wants is a quiet home and someone to love and take care of her.

He was found as a stray and came to us after living a hard life outside for a long time. He has cute ears that fold over due to frostbite and injuries before he came to us. He is a lovable guy with beautiful green eyes and a unique meow. He is available for no charge to an approved Senior through our Senior to Senior program.

A good Samaritan rescued this litter of five when she found them outside without a mother. She is a real beauty, petite in size but still a little shy. She needs a caring, sincere person that she can start her new life with in 2010. Could that be you ?

She came to us as a pregnant stray so she had her babies here at the shelter and she was a great mother. Very shy at first but now she is starting to enjoy getting some attention. If you have love to give her we think she will give you twice as much back.

He was relinquished due to his guardians serious health issues. He came to us very overweight but now he is fit, trim and ready for his new home. He loves other dogs, when on a leash he follows his nose and loves to get massaged all over.
 

 

 

JINX 5 month old male Black DSH


He came from a litter of 5 kittens rescued from outside. He and his brother Jaguar are the only two left waiting for their new home. He is very playful and will keep you amused with his antics over this long cold winter.

He was found as a stray with his four littermates when they were only a couple of months old. He is the last one of his litter still waiting to be adopted. He has a sweet innocent face with big trusting eyes and he is waiting for you to take him home.

She was found on a golf course with her babies. She came here to raise her litter of 4 and she was a wonderful mother. This sweet sad face seems to tell us her whole life story but we hope someone will change her future. She needs and deserves a loving guardian.

Her mother and 4 other siblings came to us through the Trap-Neuter-Return program.  She has green eyes, wonderful markings and a very sweet face.  She is ready for some love from you and to be a loving member of your family.  UPDATE 7-15-10 THIS BEAUTIFUL GIRL IS STILL LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME.
