Foster Homes are another important part of our success.

Dogs and cats are placed in your home environment to ready them for their 'forever home'. Animals that come in that are not adoptable upon arrival or rescue are best cared for in a foster home. Sometimes the animals are pregnant, have medical issues, are injured or need socialization and training. The foster home is a temporary situation that helps an animal become highly adoptable.

You would bring the animal into your home and provide a lot of love, food/water and any special needs.

If you would be willing and able to open your heart and your home to a dog or cat in need, please call the shelter and ask about our Foster Program.

Helping Paws is funded solely through donations.  Please help us save the stray dogs and cats that come to us for help. A gift of any amount will help in the lives of these wonderful animals.

Fox Valley Helping Paws Animal Welfare Association, a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization, was founded in 1971.
